Patnitop

One of the most picturesque hill stations in the country, Patnitop is located in the Udhampur district of Jammu, and is the highest point along the National Highway to Srinagar. Sprawling across a flat top in the Shivalik range of the lower Himalayas, Patnitop was originally calledPatan Da Talab (Pond of the Princess), and lies at an altitude of 2024 m. If you're looking for solitude amidst stunning scenery, the beauty and tranquility of this plateau is unmatched. The landscape changes drastically between summer and winter—the large lakes and bright green grasslands transform into a white wonderland in the winter months, when the town receives heavy snowfall—with winters drawing in hordes of skiing enthusiasts. Another famous spot here is the Naag Temple, which is one of the most ancient shrines in the area.

Just like most hill stations in India, there is romanticism in the air in the winter months here, and the streets are fairly less crowded, which adds to the experience. A beautiful emerald lake surrounded by green hills, quaint old cottages and markets, and a web of walking tracks—there are plenty of picturesque places to visit in Nainital. One of the most popular hill destinations in India, Nainital is also a part of the 'lake district' of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, with lakes such as Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal in the vicinity. Nainital's charms include everything from boating and sailing to old temples and heritage buildings, and of course, scenic views at every other step. Best Beaches to Visit in Mauritius

Mauritius's beautiful beaches are the key draw for most tourists who visit the island—and you don't have to go far to find one. All beaches are public, and although hotels have claimed the best ones, they're accessible to non-residents as well. The north coast has the greatest concentration and variety of beaches, including small coves shaded by casuarina trees. The most celebrated stretches of bleached white sand, gently sloping into a warm azure sea, are found in the east, while the west coast has golden sand, shallow water and the best sunsets. The south is wilder, where the surf clashes against the shore. You can Explore Mauritius with Our Mauritius Group Package Tour from Mumbai.

This are the Top 11 Best Beaches to Visit in Mauritius

Blue Bay

This protected marine park has the island's best underwater scenery close to shore, and is popular with tourists owing to its glass bottom boat trips, organised snorkelling excursions, and catamaran ride to Île aux Cerfs or Île aux Aigrettes.

Belle Mare

This pristine 10 km long white sand beach is one of the most beautiful on the island, and is most popular with the rich. Bear in mind that the currents here are stronger and it is windier that other parts of Mauritius. The Pass is the east’s most famous dive site and is found offshore.

Ile aux Cerfs

Named after the stags (cerfs) that once roamed here, Mauritius's favourite island playground is a sand bar of talcum-white sand edged by translucent water. It’s a great spot for couples and also golfers who can head to play a round at one of the world's most stunning courses at Le Touessrok Hotel. You can Explore Ile aux Cerfs with Our Mauritius Group Package Tour from Mumbai.

Trou aux Biches

This pretty, white sand beach is shaded by casuarina trees, with clear shallow water and the reef close to shore. Although it is most ideal for families, it's a superb choice for just about anyone. It's popular for snorkelling and divers can enjoy the fish-filled Aquarium to sunken wrecks at Water Lily here. You can Explore Trou aux Biches with Our Mauritius Group Package Tour from Mumbai.

Grand Baie

The sheltered emerald waters of lively Grand Baie are too crowded with boats for swimming, but it's a place to get active and visit beaches nearby. Those looking for a bit of buzz with their beach and water sports enthusiasts would be the happiest here. There's plenty of shopping, drinking and dining and the widest variety of water sports on the island. Visit Mont Choisy, a long narrow white sand beach along a turquoise bay, the popular small cove of Pereybere and La Cuvette, a long silky stretch with clear water and one of the island's finest spots for swimming. Excursions to the northern islands leave from here.

Florence, Italy

Why Go to Florence?:- Tucked amid Tuscany's hills, Florence tempts couples with its overwhelming beauty. There is plenty to see, including the famous Uffizi Gallery. But rather than stay inside, snap a picture on the Ponte Vecchio, wander in the lush Boboli Gardens or stop for a memorable meal.

This little city, tucked amid the Tuscan hills, casts a long shadow through history. The wellspring of the Renaissance, Firenze (or Florence) sheltered the powerful Medici family and inspired artists like Michelangelo (David) and Brunelleschi (the Duomo). If it weren’t for the fashionable Italians and chic shops lining Via Tornabuoni, you might think you had traveled back in time to the 14th century. But Renaissance art is not the only reason to come: You also visit Florence for its gorgeous sunsets, its Italian cooking and its unbeatable romantic charm.

Paris, France

Why Go to Paris?:- The City of Love is one of the most romantic places on earth. You and your amour can stroll along the River Seine, dine at elegant French restaurants and tour iconic museums. Plus, the Eiffel Tower only gets more enchanting when it flickers at night.

The City of Light draws millions of visitors every year with its unforgettable ambiance. Of course, the divine cuisine and vast art collections deserve some of the credit as well. The gentle River Seine rambles through the city, flanked by stately museums, centuries-old churches, and blocks of Rococo- and Neoclassic-design architecture, further enhanced by charming trees and glowing streetlamps. Peppering the Seine's cobbled walks and graceful bridges are impossibly chic Parisians, probably on their way to the market, cafe or cinema.

Containing world-class museums, fashion, cuisine, and an atmosphere all its own, Paris is also a city of "many splendors," as Ernest Hemingway recalled in his memoir, "A Moveable Feast." Visit the Centre Pompidou, enjoy gourmet pastries, shop couture on the Champs Élysées or hit the boutiques in Les Halles, take in the view atop the Eiffel Tower, or even plan a day trip to Versailles Palace. But don't miss out on the simple pleasure of meandering the marvelous arrondissements (districts). Explore Paris with Our Europe Group Package Tour from Mumbai

Santorini, Greece

Why Go to Santorini?:- While here, you're bound to get some incredible couples photos. Bring a camera along as you spend your days lounging on Santorini's red beaches and sipping wine at one of the island's vineyards. And don't forget to snap pictures of Oia's gorgeous sunsets.

Your first order of business in Santorini is to hit the colorful beaches — the black and red sands make for a memorable visit. Next up, indulge in the archaeological delights of the impressively preserved Ancient Akrotiri. or climb the ancient stairs that lead to the historic city of Manolas in Thirassia. From there, catch a breathtaking view of the caldera, a brilliant turquoise pool of water that serves as nucleus for the varied isles of this archipelago. Some would say you only need a day to enjoy these islands' charms (they are a popular port of call for cruise ships), but to really drink in all Santorini has to offer, you'll need a few days to a week. Then you'll have plenty of time to learn there's more to these comely dots of the Cyclades than meets the eye.

When the Guru Padmasambhava passed by, while returning from Tibet, the local residents are reported to have approached him for providing source of water.

Other fact about the Place is Some grazers projected another problem to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Due to the effect of altitude, their virility was affected. They requested the Guru to do something about it. Guru Nanak Dev Ji blessed the lake, saying,"Whosoever takes the water of this lake will gain virility and strength and will be blessed with children." The people of the area have firm faith in Guru's words and consider the water of the lake as nectar. A Gurdwara was constructed in the eighties to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev Ji visit to the place.
